Mauri Kunnas

Mauri Kunnas is a beloved and renowned Finnish children’s author and illustrator. His first illustrated children’s books, The Book of Finnish Elves was published in 1979. Thus far, he has published over 70 children’s illustrated books, and they continue to be popular and beloved. Several generations have grown up reading books by Kunnas, and what could be better than sharing your own childhood stories with your own ones!

Mauri Kunnas books often take place in same settings. Many Christmas stories take place in Santa’s Village, and there are several stories of Doghill Farm. Mr. Clutterbuck, the world’s most famous sleepwalker, can be seen in different Kunnas settings.
