The Cat Next Door is a fun memory game for the whole family with a house-shaped game board. The goal of the game is to find the correct combination of a cat and a colour and collect cat tokens. The player who collects the most tokens is the winner. The game can be played simultaneously by 2-4 players. It lasts about 15 minutes and is suitable for children over 4 years old. The game rules are available in Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish.
In the game, 16 double-sided window tiles are set up in a grid, some of which show a cat and others a colour. At the start of the turn, a round cat token with a cat on a colourful background is flipped over. The players' task is to find the correct combination of cat and colour by flipping the window tiles. The player chooses either the same cat or the same colour as the one on the cat token and checks if they got it right. If both match, the player earns a cat token as a reward. If either one is incorrect, the next player gets a chance to try their luck.
