Bandit, Hästen Mulle by his original Swedish name, and known as Malle in the Netherlands and Polle in Finland, is a small, plump pony with a lot of personality. He stars a series of short comics created by Lena Furberg, a Swedish comic artist, illustrator and author who is famous for her easily recognizable illustrations, known to all horse lovers. In her comics, she tells funny, charming and thrilling stories starring horses in all breeds and sizes. The most famous of her horses is Bandit, a pony whose thoughts, day dreams and dry humour the comic series conveys. Bandit lives in a stable, is owned by a girl called Molly but who Bandit often refers to as ’Bandit’s person’ – after all, Bandit is known as the most horse in the world.
